Klondike Days was always my favourite time of the year. I have so many wonderful memories of walking the fair grounds with my cousins and friends, riding the Polar Express, absolutely NOT riding or walking through anything haunted, and indulging in a huge piece of pizza. Since getting into photography I have wanted to take a couple to the grounds and catch the lights and the atmosphere of Klondike Days, and I was so lucky to have not one but three different couples come to take part in the fair. It was such a fun couple of days, and I am so excited to do it again next year!

I started talking to Jess in February, and she expressed interest in taking photos with her boyfriend. We had grand plans of making our way down to the Ice Castles down in Hawrelak Park, but to our misfortune due to the warm weather our plans were shut down. Instead we made our way down to a lovely little spot just off the river valley loosely referred to as "The End of the World". It was beautiful outside, lots of sunlight and unusually warm weather for the very beginning of March. Upon meeting these two young souls, I immediately felt the love. Although they are young (still in Jr. High if you can believe it!) Jess and Andrew are both incredibly sweet together. They have spent a year and a half together, and their journey together has just begun. Jess and Andrew were so natural being with each other, and being in front of the camera, I'm so glad I had the opportunity to capture the two of them in their natural state. I can't wait to see how your love blossoms as you mature.
