When your best friend's aunt and uncle reach out you and ask you for a family session you don't say no. Especially when the three kids are adorable and mom and dad are smoke shows. I had so much fun with this rambunctious family, they welcomed me to Mel's parent's home which had such a beautiful big yard. Perfect for the kids to run and play. I loved capturing this sweet family!

Whenever Aly and I come together to work on a project the planets somehow align and we always get incredible images. Working with her is always such a dream, and I can't get over how down to earth and easy going she is. Take a look at some of the beautiful photos we caught on one of the nicest days we had in October.
I've been dying to work with Micheala since our shoot last year when I was doing shoots for basically nothing and I just wanted to sessions with anyone and everyone. This time we met up at the Edmonton Corn Maze with her boyfriend Luke for a couples shoot and I am so happy with how the images turned out. Micheala and Luke balance each other so well, and their relationship is sweet and youthful. They let me try out a couple of different techniques for this shoot, and I'm so glad they let me get a little more creative with them. I can't wait to shoot with them again!
Look at this stunner! Rhianne has been working her butt off in nursing school and I couldn't be more proud of her. I remember her running and jumping into my arms in high school, and now she's just a little over a month away from graduating as a Registered Nurse. We walked through her campus, got Starbucks, and even went to Rogers Arena for a couple photos in her jersey. Rhianne is going to make an incredible nurse, I can't wait to see what she accomplishes in the future!
When my boyfriend and I arrived at the "Funny Farm" on September 24th, we didn't know what to expect. When we pulled up to Taylor and Dylan's acreage lot just outside of Wetaskiwin we were immediately greeted by dogs (YES!), horses, cats, and even pot bellied pig named Lincoln. We met these two love birds at a concert at The Ranch here in Edmonton and stayed in contact ever since. When I saw that they got engaged I was so stoked! After a couple of rain checks and messy schedules we finally got together and created some magic. These two wanted every one of their Funny Farm animals in the photos, which wasn't easy but it was so much fun. I can't wait to document their wedding this summer!
Whenever a couple wants to include their furry friend in a photo shoot I instantly get excited. I love dogs so much, and when my clients want to bring them along it's basically a dream come true for me. Pearl and Isabelle came with their new dog Willow (who is an absolute sweetheart) and we chased sunlight together in the Terwillegar Dog Park. The warm fall evening was the perfect setting for their fall photo session. These two are so sweet and funny, they had me laughing the entire time. Their love for each other is definitely #goals.
This was my third time working with Aly, and her energy is honestly so infectious. She puts a smile on my face whenever we are together and I'm so glad to say that we have become friends. Her makeup skills are incredible, and she is so down to earth and sweet and just a genuinely amazing person. She was contacted by Canadian clothing company Marquee Noir to do some advertising for them, and now she's on their website showing off one of the amazingly comfy sweaters. I can't wait to see what she does in the future!
My friend and former co-worker Sarah reached out when she was nearing the end of her pregnancy, and I knew then and there that her baby was going to be a cutie. I wasn't wrong. I went out to Sarah and Gaeten's home on August 10th and was there for about an hour and a half capturing little Lincoln. His nursery was a beautiful neutral palette of colours, so we stuck with similar colours for his photos, and of course the fox outfit because it is just too cute to resist. He slept for the entire session, he's such a sweetheart!
I was super excited when my friend Aureanna asked about doing a concept shoot this summer. Concept and styled sessions are still fairly new to me, so I was both nervous and stoked about coming up with something exciting for this shoot. Aureanna and I both came up with the idea of using smoke bombs for this particular session, and having an "end of the world/nuclear war" theme just seemed to fit. So with some help of our talented makeup artist Alyssa Roberts and personal chauffeur Kyle Kuchuk we came up with these photos, which I think captured the theme perfectly. It was so much fun!
I came to know Amanda and Tyler through my boyfriend about a year ago. I knew these two were meant for each other the day I met them, and I knew that they would be together forever. They are both super goofy, they have a shared love of cats and video games, and they sure know how to throw a party. The last Halloween party they threw everyone played hide and seek in their new house. If that doesn't qualify as a good time, I don't know what does. Amanda and Tyler's wedding was my first wedding ever, and they both made it so much fun and I couldn't have been more happy to do it for my friends. Although their was some rain on their day, it certainly didn't damper the mood, and the day was still perfect. Congratulations on your beautiful wedding, and thank you for having me. <3
